Andrew M. Greeley “The Archbishop in Andalusia”

Another Greeley book but I don't recommend it. This current Greeley book introduces me to
his series involving “Blackie”, the Chicago Archbishop—an Archbishop type that
certainly never existed in Chicago. In
the novel, Blackie is in historic Seville (a city I visited some years ago) to
attend a conference, but is really there to help avert a murder before it
happens.
Some people watch mindless TV programs to relax, I
read Greeley. As always, the women are
all exceptional and Blackie in his Poirot role is barely believable.
