Andrew M. Greeley “The Bishop Goes To The
University” Thorndike Press, 2003, 256pp
Another Greeley book with Auxiliary Bishop Blackie
again in his Poirot role. This time his
Cardinal sends him to Chicago University to investigate the assassination of a
Russian Orthodox monk. The plot thickens
as it seems Intelligence agents from the CIA, Vatican, France, and Russia are
involved, not to mention the Chicago Outfit.
This is easy sit-down one-time and get up when book is done reading
genre. Requires no thinking—something I
am getting good at.
