Julian Fellowes “Belgravia”, Grand Central Publishing, 2016, 402 pp.
If you liked
Downton Abbey, you’ll like this book: It is written by the same author. The story begins in 1815 at a ball in
Brussels as Napoleon approaches the city for the ensuing battle of Waterloo. A secret involving an officer killed in that
battle is what propels this story. After
the battle, the plot jumps to the 1840s and continues from that point. There is a Duchess in this story who is much
like the one portrayed in Downton Abbey.
I read the book in two days but mostly to just get done with it.
